(Amman Q.A.I. Airport – Jerusalem)
Arrival at Amman Q.A.I. Airport. Meet & Assist. Direct transfer to
Jerusalem via Allenby Bridge, view over the Holy City from atop Mount of Olives, visit Gethsemane
with Church of All Nations and Virgin Mary’s tomb. Enter The Old City and visit St. Anne’s
/ Bethesda, Ecce Homo Convent, follow the 14 stations of way of the cross, walk through
the bazaars to Holy
Sepulcher, view Golgotha and Tomb of Christ. Exit the Old City at Jaffa
Gate and proceed to Bethlehem for lunch. Visit Church and Grotto of Nativity, St. Catherine’s
Church. Back to Allenby Bridge via Wadi Kelt road, transfer to Amman Q.A.I. Airport for
departure.
Full day Jordan
(Amman Q.A.I. Airport – Byzantine Madaba – Mt. Nebo (Moses’ Memorial) –Mukawir
(John the Baptist’s prison) – Bethany "beyond Jordan "(Christ’s baptism
site).
Arrival at Amman Q.A.I. Airport. Meet & Assist. Depart to Madaba, the
biblical Moabite town ,visit the Greek-Orthodox Church of St. George, famous for its originally
2 million piece mosaic map dated 560 AD, featuring the Dead Sea and Jerusalem with the Holy
Sepulcher Church, continue to Mount Nebo, the most revered holy site in Jordan, where Moses
climbed to survey the Promised Land, & where he is presumed to be buried. The small church
built on the spot by early Byzantine Christians, shelters remarkable mosaics from the 4th
and 6th century. Drive to Mukawir (Mechaerus) along the Kings’ Highway and stop to visit Qal’at
Al-Mishnaqa which has kept the old name of the Herodian Fortress built to guard the southern
boundary of Pearland where Herod Antipas held John the Baptist prisoner, prior to his tragic
death. Continue to the Dead Sea for lunch, take a detour through Jordan Valley to visit Bethany,
"beyond Jordan", an ancient village site, 1.5 km east of the Jordan River, where Jesus spent
40 days in the wilderness after his baptism and where John the Baptist lived and preached.
Proceed to Jerash for an afternoon visit of the best preserved Roman Provincial City of the
Decapolis, whose citizens used to celebrate the miracle of Jesus turning water into wine
at afountain within a large complex. Transfer to Amman Q.A.I. Airport for departure.
Jordan/Holy Land extension

Day 1: Arrival at Amman Q.A.I. Airport. Meet Assist. Direct transfer to
Allenby Bridge to cross to Jerusalem via Jericho, panoramic vista over the
Holy City from a top Mount of Olives, visit Gethsemane, Church of All Nations, Virgin
Mary's tomb. Enter the Old City and view St. Anne's / Bethesda Ecce Homo Convent, follow the 14 stations
of way of the cross, walk through the bazaars to Holy Sepulcher, visit Golgotha and Tomb
of Christ. Lunch at a local restaurant. Exit the Old City at Jaffa Gate, drive on to Bethlehem,
and visit Church / Grotto of Nativity and St. Catherines Church. Back to Jerusalem, check
in to hotel, dinner overnight.
Day 2: Breakfast, view Al-Aqsa Mosque, Dome of the Rock (from outside only)
the Wailing / Western Wall, proceed to Allenby Bridge to cross to Jordan, continue through
Jordan Valley to visit Bethany, "beyond Jordan", an ancient village site, 1.5 km east of
