Holy Land Catholic Pilgrimage  8Days-7Nights

Day 2  We celebrate early morning Mass at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher or at the Holy Tomb. After Mass, we drive to the top of the Mount of Olives with its many churches built in memory of Jesus' Ascension.
We take a few minutes to enjoy this magnificent view of Jerusalem. If permitted, we will visit the Mosque of the Ascension, where it is believed Christ ascended into Heaven. There we say one of the decades of the rosary. We proceed to the Church of Pater Nostre and then the Church of Dominus Flavent. We stop at the Garden of Gethsemane, where we will celebrate morning Mass. We will also visit the tomb located next to the Garden of Gethsemane where it is believed that the Blessed Mother was laid to rest and ascended into Heaven. In the afternoon, we take a tour around the Old City visiting each of the Historical Gates - Jaffa Gate, Zion Gate, New Gate, Damascus Gate, Dung Gate and St. Stephen's Gate. We will walk with the Franciscan priests as they celebrate the Way of the Cross Procession through the Via Dolorosa. We enter the Church of the Holy Sepulcher and visit Calvary and the Holy Tomb. Overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 3 We attend Mass in the morning at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher or at the Holy Tomb. After Mass, we drive to the Shepherd's Field in Bethlehem where we sing Christmas carols regardless of the season! We continue to the Church of the Nativity, the birthplace of Jesus, where we celebrate late morning Mass. This afternoon, we visit the house of Caiphas, the Room of  the Last Supper, and Dormition Abbey. Overnight in Jerusalem.

 Day 4  We attend Mass early in the morning at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher or at the Holy Tomb. We depart Jerusalem, stopping in Jericho. We continue north to Cana and those who are married renew their marriage vows! We pass the Jordan River and continue around the Sea of Galilee to Peter's Primacy where we celebrate Mass. Overnight in Tiberias.

Day 5 This morning, we celebrate Mass at the Mount of Beatitudes, one of the loveliest churches in the Holy Land. After Mass, we visit Capernaum, Jesus' town, and Tabgha - the Church of the Multiplication of Loaves and Fishes. We take a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. If time permits, we will enjoy a leisurely stroll along the shores of the sea. Overnight in Tiberias.

Day 6 This morning, we depart Galilee for Nazareth and the Church of the Annunciation. We continue on to Mt. Tabor. Here we embark on the unforgettable journey to the top of Mt. Tabor, the Mountain of the Transfiguration. Here we celebrate Mass. After Mass, we enjoy a special lunch prepared by the Sisters of Mt. Tabor. We descend from Mt. Tabor and continue south as we return to the Holy City of Jerusalem. Overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 7 This morning we celebrate Mass at Ain Kerem. Balance of the day at leisure. Overnight in Jerusalem. 

Day 8 We depart for the airport and your return flight.
