Day (1) - Arrival in Amman
Upon arrival, you will be met by our Representative who will assist you
through immigrations, customs, and will escort you to your hotel. |
Day (2) - Amman - Dead Sea
You will visit the Roman Amphitheater which dates back to the second century
AD, the Roman Ruins of the Citadel Hill, and the Archaeological Museum, then your adventure will continue
with a visit to the Ashrafia Mosque and the King Hussein Sport City.
In the afternoon you will be driven south of the main road to Jerusalem
until you reach Suweimeh, where a road will lead you approximately one mile to the Dead Sea the lowest spot
on the earth surface, 1306 feet below sea level. The Dead Sea is 46 miles long and 310 miles wide with
no outlet, it is a scenic oddity by day it is silvery blue, and by night it glisten in the moonlight. |
Day (3) - Jerash- Ajloun
You will be driven north to visit Jerash, which was known as the Pompei
of the East, and also known as the city of the Triple Arched gate, The Huge Hippodrome, The Theatre, and the
only Roman Forum surrounded by 63 Ionic Columns.
Twenty minutes west of Jerash, is Ajloun, the imposing Arab Castles of
Qalaat El Rabad, from where the
forces of Salahedin ( Saladin) launched their successful campaigns against
the Crusader. |
Day (4) - Amman- Nebo - Madaba -Kerak - Petra
You will be driven southward along the King's Highway, one of the oldest
trade routes in the world, which runs
200 miles along Jordan's hilly back bone. You'll stop at the Byzantine
Church of Mt. Nebo, and then proceed to Madaba where you will see a unique Mosaic Map of Palestine, then you'll
visit the great crusaders castles of Kerak, and continue to Petra for overnight. |
Day (5) - Petra- Aqaba
The Rose - Red City of the Edomites, and later the Nabateans, who carved
breathtaking empire out of the solid mountain rock is hidden a canyon, Petra reveals ruins of Nabateans
, Roman, and Christian Centres of
worship. The tomb of Aaron, the brother of Moses, is located nearby, as
well as Wadi Mousa, " the Spring of Moses". To discover this ancient attraction; you will take a horse back
ride through the Siq, the only access to this city carved out of the Rose colored
rock, then you will visit
the Treasury, Theatre Tombs and Hall of justice and Palaces. In the late afternoon you will leave Petra to
Aqaba. |
Day (6) - Aqaba
Free day for swimming and relaxing or you can take an Optional tour to
Wadi Rum which is known as the Lawrence of Arabia. |
Day (7) - Aqaba - Amman - Home
After breakfast, you'll be driven to the Aqaba airport for a short flight
to Amman for your connections back home. |
