 Ma'in Thermal Spa Village
Besides the Dead Sea itself, another popular thermal spa is Hammamat Ma’in, a lovely village with a four star hotel. The drive by car is one of the most thrilling in Jordan, with a steep, last-minute drop to the healthful springs. Once there, you can climb over the rocks beneath a hot waterfall, and soak or swim in the thermal waters. Like the Dead Sea, it is less than an hour’s drive from downtown Amman. |
