DAY (1)- Arrival In The Holy Land
Upon arrival at the airport or bridge, you will be met by our representative
who will assist you through customs and will escort you to the hotel and to assure that you
are comfortable in your overnight accommodations.
Day (2)- Caessarea-Haifa-Nazareth-Tiberias
You will drive up the coast of the Mediterranean Sea to Caessarea, the
ancient part where Peter spent much of his ministry. You will continue north to the port of Haifa
where you will view the city and the harbor from atop Mt. Camel. Your next stop will be the city of
Nazareth where you will visit the beautiful Church of the Annunciation, Mary’s Well, and Joseph’s Carpenter
Shop. You will stop at the little village of Cana and then go on to Tiberias to your hotel for
some rest, overnight.
Day (3)- Capernaum-Magiddo-Samaria-Jerusalem
You will begin this morning with a relaxing boat ride across the Sea of
Galilee to Capernaum, the center of Jesus’ ministry in Galilee. After sightseeing the ruins of Capernaum,
you will drive to Tagbha, sights of Jesus feeding the 5,000 and the Mt. Beatitudes.
Maggido,
a charlotte city of Solomon, will be your next stop, and then you’ll continue south to ancient
Samaria, the capital of the Northern Kingdom. You’ll drive through Nablus and Schechem lying between
Mt. Ebal and Mt.Garazim. You’ll see Jacob's Well where Christ talked to the Samaritan woman.
The road of the Patriarch will take you to Nob, Gibeah, Ramah, and Mizpan before arriving
to Jerusalem to spend the night.
Day (4)- Mount of Olives-Bethlehem-New City
This morning, you will be driven to the Mt. of Olives for a beautiful panoramic
view of the city of Jerusalem. You’ll visit the Chapel of Ascension before descending the Mount
to the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations. You will then proceed to Bethlehem
to the Church of the Nativity, Manger Square, the milk Grotto, Shepherd's Field and Rachel's
Tomb. You will be driven south to Hebron to see the Oak Tree of Mamre, the cave of
Makpelah, and
the Tombs of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and their wives. You will return to Jerusalem to visit
Mount Zion, the room to the
Last Supper, King David’s tomb and the Church of St. Peter in Gallicanter.
Day (5)- Massada-Qumran-Jericho-Dead Sea-Bethany
You will be driven to the fortress of Massada, Herod’s luxurious winter
palace and where the Zealots withstood the roman armies until death. You will drive along the Dead Sea
to the hills of Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found in the surroundings caves. then you
will go to the oldest city in the world, Jericho, and see the ruins of the city and the Mt. Temptation.
Upon returning to Jerusalem via the Judean Hills, you will visit Bethany, the home of May,
Martha and Lazarus and visit the church and Tomb of Lazarus.
Day (6)- Old City of Jerusalem
Sightseeing in the Old City of Jerusalem, you’ll visit the Church of St.
Anne, Pool of Bethesda, and the temple area where you’ll visit inside the beautiful Dome of the Rock,
El Aqsa Mosque and the Wailling Wall. In the afternoon, you’ll visit the Garden Tomb and then
return to the Old City to see the Flagellation chapel, Ecce Homo Arch and follow the Way of the Cross ( Via
Dolorosa) to Mount Calvary and Church of the Holy Sepulchre. You’ll also visit native bazaars
to see the craft work of the country.
Day (7)- Departure
You’ll be driven to the Airport or Bridge for your Departure. |
